The Victorian English Gentlemens Club
The Victorian English Gentlemens Club is an indie rock band which formed in 2004 in Cardiff, Wales. The band currently consists of Adam Taylor (vocals, guitar), Louise Mason (vocals, bass), Heddwyn Davies (viola, mandolin) and James Griffiths (drums). The band has released three albums, "The Victorian English Gentlemens Club" (2006), "Love on an Oil Rig" (2009), and "Bag of Meat" (2011).
The band was formed by Taylor, Mason, and drummer Emma Daman, and released their initial singles and first two albums with this lineup. Daman left shortly after the recording of their second album and the remaining duo recruited guitarist Steph Jones and drummer Dan Lazenby for the ensuing tour. In early 2010, Griffiths became the group's full-time drummer and the trio released "Bag of Meat" in June 2011. The band added Davies later that year. Read more on Last.fm.
